  Lived in Braintree for 11 years from East London has been hard to find a pub in town to replace the one i left back then...until i walked in to the Wagon.The greetin and respect from Steve the landlord and Christine landlady from then i knew i had adventurely found my new local.proper local with different characters and wit.have had many a laugh with this close knit local pub community in the Wagon .So come in and join us we all make new comers welcome just like the landlord you wont be diappointed.....apart from the pubs award winning ales and proberly the best pint of Guiness in Braintree you.ll be a fool not too.....Dee Bee

  Lots of proper beers on tap and always well kept. Nice traditional old pub but with lots of seating and bar space.
